Barry G Price
Midlands born Barry Price developed a keen interest in drawing under the guidance of his grandfather well before leaving school. From the start it was the portrayal of trains, boats and planes that captured his imagination.

After military servce in 1960, he continued his career in commercial art. Since the 1970's he has enjoyed good sales of original canvasses and undertakes special commissions. Many artworks have been reproduced as Greetings Cards, Calendars and Commemorative plates.

Prints of Barry's Aviation and Steam Locomotive art are published by The Newcomers' Gallery Limited.

Artist Signed Limited Edition of 850 numbered copies. In 1948 Stalin's ruthless rule over post-war Eastern Europe was extended to a blockade of the land supply routes to West Berlin. The freedom of West Berlin's 2 million population was maintained during 1948 and 1949 by a massive airlift of food, coal and other supplies 'over the Iron Curtain'.   LE12 OPERATION 'CHASTISE'
The Dambusters Raid

The night of Sunday/Monday, 16/17th May 1943. Published as a Single International Edition Limited to 850 copies. Signed by the artist and numbered. 617 Sqn took off from RAF Scampton led by Wg. Cdr. G.P. Gibson. Specially adapted Lancasters were used. The fourth aircraft to attack AJ@A (ED877) piloted by Sqn. Ldr. H.M. Young was the aircraft which breached the Möhne Dam. The attack was carried out under a full moon for maximum night time visibility. the mine was released at an altitude of 60ft at a speed of 220mph. Codename for the cylindrical mine was 'Upkeep'. Diameter 50". Length 60". Of the 19 aircraft dispatched, 8 failed to return. Colour Plate Size: 16" x 24". 40.6 x 61cms. Published retail price £58.75.

LE46 LUFTWAFFE MESSERSCHMITT Me 262A-1a
Artist Signed limited Edition of 850 numbered copies. In the early summer of 1944 the Me262 became the world's first operational jet aircraft. With a top speed of 540 mph it easily outperformed any Allied aircraft of WWII, and went on to revolutionize aerial warfare. A truly remarkable aircraft. One of the most advanced aircraft of World War II, the Ar 234 with its twin turbojets could carry out its high altitude reconnaisance or bombing duties at a speed which made interception by Allied aircraft virtually impossible.
